Mr. Kantelia is a member of the Board of Directors of IFG Capital. Prior to his appointment at IFG, he founded McLaren Global Partners, a strategy consulting firm focused on the financial services industry with offices in London, New York and Singapore. The firm has worked with leading alternative investment managers and niche investment banks across Europe and Asia Pacific to advise on growth strategies through the build-out of executive management / investment teams and introduction to strategic investment partners. He has worked at board level with high quality start-ups and established fund managers including a top tier international real estate fund manager to advise on the creation and launch of new alternative investment products.
Prior to McLaren Global Partners, Mr. Kantelia has been involved in the start-up and growth of several consulting, executive search and software product businesses focused on the global financial markets. He started his first business venture in 1990, a company that provided a unique combination of management consultancy, executive search, and software product services to leading global asset managers and investment banks.
Max has previously been involved with London Business School as a member of the Enterprise 100, which helps LBS to make investment decisions in early stage ventures, and is a Non Executive Chairman at BioAngelis Ltd, a start-up BioTech company involved in research into Personalized Chemotherapy regimes for lung cancer. Max is a graduate of the Special Engineering Degree program and worked in airborne radar systems design at GEC-Marconi after graduation.
